How To Store And Reheat Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos?

If you have my leftovers then try keeping all the ingredients of this dish separately. Keep shrimp, slaw, sauce, and tortilla in separate airtight containers.

It is best to store them for up to two days as they will still taste fresh and good. Avoid storing shrimp for more than two days in the refrigerator section.

When you want to serve the dish try to microwave the shrimp till warm, also the same with sauce if you do not like cold sauce and slaw. You can also heat the tortilla on the gas directly.

Tips To Make The Best Bonefish Grill Bang Bang Shrimp (Copycat) Tacos

  • To make this recipe healthy either bake the shrimp or you can grill them too. To bake the shrimp you can use the same flour mix to coat and bake them turning in between till done.

  • To grill, the shrimp skip the cornstarch and flour, instead just marinate the shrimp with remaining ingredients and grill them.

  • You can also pan-fry the shrimp, in which case you can dredge the shrimp in the flour mix and pan-fry the shrimp till done.

  •  Instead of using mayonnaise, you can use fat-free Greek yogurt to make it a little healthier.

  • Do not crowd the pan while frying shrimp, leave some space for the shrimp, as crowding the pan with shrimp will reduce oil temperature.

  • Always use the medium to larger shrimp for this recipe. Using small shrimp will make it very time-consuming to fry them.
