Egg Roll Noodle Bowl

If you ever wondered how to make ramen healthy? You need to try this Chicken Ramen noodles recipe. It will make your dinner so amazing and your love for Chinese take out dishes more than ever.

Egg Roll Noodles ingredients:

  • Minced Chicken/ Pork/Beef
  • Ramen
  • Vegetable (Onion,garlic,ginger,carrot,cabbage,spring onion,bell pepper)
  • Sauce (soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, sriracha)

How to make Egg Roll Ramen?

Step1:   Cook the noodles as per package instructions (maximum for 1 min), drain the water, and toss noodles with oil, to avoid sticking the noodles. Discard the seasoning package

Step2:    In a skillet, add oil. When the oil turns hot, add ginger, garlic and saute for a few seconds.

Step3:   Add chicken, salt, and pepper powder to the pan. Saute further and let the chicken cook.

Step4:    Add all vegetables to the pan(onion, carrot, cabbage, bell pepper) and saute well till the vegetable are cooked.

Step5:    In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients to make the sauce and mix well. Keep this aside.

Step6:     Add noodles to the pan, then add sauce and toss everything well so that sauce coats the noodles and vegetables well.

Adjust salt and pepper powder.

Ingredients

For Sauce:
  • 4Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1Tbsp White Vinegar
  • 1/2Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1.5Tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 1/2tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 2tsp Sriracha
For Noodles:
  • 2packs/blocks Ramen, discard seasoning
  • 1.5Cup Chicken, minced
  • 1.5tspGinger, grated
  • 5cloves, Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium  Onion,  chopped
  • 1 Large Red Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1/2Cup Carrot, sticks
  • OR 2 Cups Coleslaw Mix
  • As per need Salt
  • 2Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 2 Spring Onion, sprigs, chopped
  • Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles as per package instructions(maximum for 1 min), drain the water, and toss noodles with oil, to avoid sticking the noodles. Discard the seasoning package.
  2. In a skillet, add oil. When the oil turns hot, add ginger, garlic and saute for a few seconds.
  3. Add chicken, salt, and pepper powder to the pan. Saute further and let the chicken cook.
  4. Add all vegetables to the pan(onion, carrot, cabbage, bell pepper) and saute well till the vegetable are cooked.
  5. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients to make the sauce and mix well. Keep this aside.
  6. Add noodles to the pan, then add sauce and toss everything well so that sauce coats the noodles and vegetables well.
  7. Adjust salt and pepper powder.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds, spring onion chopped, and serve hot.

Notes:

Cook the noodles for a maximum of 1 minute, then drain the noodles and toss with some oil.

Storing the leftover egg roll noodles is very easy. Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container, and consume within 2 days.

To reheat the egg roll bowl, just reheat the egg roll ramen in the microwave till the noodles are heated through.
