How to cook faster meals / easy meals?
Here is what you can do to get easy dinner/lunch fix done in no time.
Working simultaneously on different things at the same time cuts down a lot of time working in kitchen.
Working simultaneously on different things at the same time cuts down a lot of time working in kitchen.
When you are prepping the dish, keep the pasta to cook,so that by the time you are done gathering all the ingredients for the final dish, you will have the pasta ready.
Finally cooking the dish and serving comes together in no time.
I mostly do a lot of multitasking in kitchen and that makes life easy as I can sort many dishes in few minutes.
Also, keeping the shrimp cleaned in the freezer helps to sort out this recipe further.
Store bought frozen shrimp will work fine but the taste of fresh shrimp which you store and use within few days give a great taste altogether and freshly cleaned shrimp will be more tastier.
How to make / Steps to make the Shrimp Scampi Pasta Recipe:
In a pan, saute the garlic in olive oil and when its slightly soft and cooked, add the shrimps.
Add the spices mentioned in the recipe and saute for few more mins.
Add the chicken stock or vegetable stock as per choice, and the let the shrimp cook.
Add butter to this and cook further for few more minutes.
Add the pasta and cook on low heat for a few seconds.
Switch off the heat, add the Parmesan and serve.
What are the Ingredients:
Shrimp: I have used fresh Shrimp here in this recipe but you can use frozen pre-cleaned shrimp too. Use the small sized shrimp for this recipe .You can always go for medium / large shrimp too as they will be more juicier.
Italian Seasoning Mix: You can go for store bought Italian Seasoning or use my homemade combination of Italian Seasoning mix. I have used a mix of Basil, Oregano, Thyme, Garlic, Onion, Rosemary.
Parmesan: The most important ingredient in this recipe which gives amazing flavor to the final dish.
Butter + Olive Oil : I have used a combination of butter and olive oil in this recipe. If you do not wish to use olive oil or butter entirely then just skip it instead use what you like, may be just vegetable oil or just plain olive oil or simply only butter.
Linguine / Angel Hair Pasta: What pasta to be used in this recipe entirely upto you.Whatever pasta you have in your pantry you can use it.
Chicken Stock / Dry White Wine : The recipe that mostly used is using dry white wine but I have not used it instead I have used chicken stock. You can use vegetable stock too.

What Wine to be used in this recipe?
As I don't have Wine nor my family I normally skip adding in any recipe that asks for it. Here I have used Chicken Stock and trust me this recipe is equally good.
So many people have tried this recipe and left their feedback on Pinterest.
Here is the Pinterest Pin to check that out!
But if you have Wine in your diet then you can go for Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio.
What to serve with Shrimp Scampi?
Fresh cooked Pasta as I have done in this recipe. I have served the Shrimp Scampi with freshly cooked Angel Hair.
You can serve along with Cheese Garlic Bread too. I have shared my recipe of cheese garlic bread.Do check that out.
