Easy sriracha shrimp taco ingredients:
Ingredients for shrimp tacos are as follows;
- Spicy Sriracha Shrimp: Marinate shrimp with garlic powder,pepper powder,cayenne pepper,cumin powder and salt and further cook them on the skillet or if you have a sunny day then on outside grill,cook the shrimp till they are done.
- Creamy Sriracha Sauce: In a bowl just whisk together mayonnaise,sriracha,salt,honey,sour cream and milk till its smooth and flowing consistency.If you feel that sauce is thick,then add extra cream or milk to adjust thickness.
- Cilantro Lime Slaw: In a mixing bowl just add the chopped cabbage,onion,cilantro,carrot along with mayonnaise,sriracha,salt,milk,honey,pepper powder and mix well.
These are the easy three ingredients of the shrimp taco recipe that makes the recipe taste so well.
How to make spicy sriracha shrimp tacos with cilantro lime slaw and sriracha sauce?
Step1: Preparing the shrimp(spicy shrimp)
In a mixing bowl,add the shrimp and all the ingredients for marinating shrimp(salt,garlic powder,pepper powder, cayenne pepper,cumin powder) and rub well these spice son shrimp and keep aside.
Heat a pan/skillet,add oil and arrange the shrimp ,let the shrimp cook on medium heat till the shrimp are cooked through.
Keep the cooked shrimp aside on a plate.

Step2: Preparing the cilantro lime slaw
In a mixing bowl,add the sliced onion,grated carrot,sliced cabbage, cilantro, salt,black pepper powder,lime juice, mayonnaise, milk,sriracha,honey and mix well to coat the veggies with all the ingredients.
Keep the slaw refrigerated till you are ready to serve.

Step3: Preparing the creamy sriracha sauce
In another bowl,add the ingredients such as mayonnaise, sriracha, salt, honey,sour cream,milk and mix well to form a smooth creamy sauce.
Keep the sauce refrigerated till you are ready to serve.

Step4: Assemble the taco
Warm the tortilla on skillet,in microwave or directly on gas.
Arrange the tortilla,add slaw,shrimp and sauce.
Add extra chopped cilantro and lime juice if you desire.

- Use fresh shrimp to get the best flavors out of shrimp in this recipe.Frozen shrimp works fine too.
- If you like more sauce in the slaw then double the sauce ingredients and check for salt.
- Depending on the portions you want to serve,adjust the quantity of shrimp,slaw and sauce.Also if the tortilla is big the quantity of stuffing will be more per tacos,also for smaller tortilla the quantity of stuffing will vary.
- If you are adding more sriracha sauce to the taco then make sure you use two tortilla to avoid tearing the tortilla.
- To warm the tortilla,you can microwave them wrapped in a kitchen paper towel or on skillet or optionally with a pair of tongs holding them directly on to the gas flame.
