Sesame Garlic Ramen Noodles
These sesame ramen noodles are what you need when you are in doubt and thinking about easy to cook dinner but don't want the same taste of the age-old seasoning packet that comes along with ramen noodles.Easy ramen sauce is the key to making these ramen noodles, making this recipe easy and delicious, plus budget-friendly.
Ingredients To Make Sesame Garlic Ramen:
- Ramen Noodles (Discard the seasoning packet, any brand that you love)
- Sesame Oil
- Garlic
- Soy Sauce
- White Vinegar
- Brown Sugar / Honey
- Sriracha
- Hoisin Sauce
- Salt
- Sesame Seeds
- Spring Onion
Use ramen noodles that you have been eating since your childhood. Any brand works for this recipe.
Adding sriracha is a personal choice. I usually add sriracha to my noodle sauce as it gives a nice heat to the dish.

How To Make Sesame Ramen?
Step1: Cook ramen in boiling water. Keep ramen slightly undercooked. Run them under cold water, drain the water, toss them in few drops of oil and keep aside.Step2: In a cup, prepare the ramen sauce( this is optional). Add soy sauce, sriracha, hoisin sauce, white vinegar, brown sugar / honey. Mix well and keep aside or add sauces separately one by one to the pan.
Step3: In a pan, add sesame oil. When its warm, add garlic and saute till garlic is fragrant. Do not burn it.
Step4: Add sauce to the pan and let it simmer on low to medium hot.
Step5: Add ramen to the pan and toss well so that the sauce coats the ramen evenly.
Step6: Add sesame seeds and spring onion to the ramen and serve white hot.
Tips To Make Sesame Garlic Ramen:
- You can use protein of your choice to this recipe. Also, add vegetables such as mushroom, broccolli, carrots, cabbage as per your personal preference.
- Storing leftover ramen noodles works by storing the noodles once they have cooled completely in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 2 days. The longer you keep this dish the taste will vary and you wont get the same taste of that freshly made ramen.
- Freezing sesame ramen noodles wont work as once thawed the noodles texture will change and the taste will be altered and wont taste great.
- Serving suggestions: You can serve this dish with grilled hariyali chicken, masala fried fish, tandoori chicken, murg malai kebab, Greek chicken kebab, grilled cilantro lime chicken.
