Batata Vada and samosas have been a childhood favorite for almost everyone I think! But to make them perfect and just like the way we get in eateries/restaurants/street food joints is the key factor when we make them at home.

Here I am not sharing my step-wise pictures, pardon me for that! I will share stepwise pictures of all recipes on my social media pages!
Do follow me there to get the idea of the procedure!

Tips:

  • Always drop the vada in oil for frying with hands. Try to avoid spoons to do this step. That's the trick to get perfect coated batata vada.
  • Be careful when you drop the vada with hand,do not burn yourself!
  • When the oil is hot, take each potato masala ball, drop in batter, coat it with batter and then drop in oil.
  • Do not fry many vadas at the same time. As they will stick to each other and loose shape.
  • Do not add more baking soda,or the batter will be inedible and will  taste weird.
  • Adjust the spices,as per your personal preference.
