Basil seeds or also called as Falooda seeds/Tukmariya ,are primarily used in falooda have a lot of health benefits such as reducing weight, reducing body heat, keeping blood sugar level in control, reduce acidity, among many other.

The Mango Ice Cream I have used here is homemade and I have already shared the recipe here. The Mango Ice Cream recipe is Mango Ice Cream No Churn.

Mango falooda served in a tall glass

Some Tips to make this amazing drink:
  • Always soak sabja/falooda seeds in plenty of water to give them enough room to bloom.Otherwise they form clusters.
  • When serving the falooda, you can arrange the layers in the glass in any order you prefer.
  • Always put the ingredients in slow stream to avoid mixing up the layers.Alternatively you can also place a spoon facing down, and slowly pour the ingredients on the spoon to form proper layers.
