- Step 1: Preheat the Oven to 375F/190C. In a bowl, mix the salt, pepper powder, paprika, garlic powder, and flour.
- Step 2: Chicken wings should be cleaned and patted dry with kitchen tissue paper. If your chicken wings are whole, then cut them at the joints into 3 pieces, and discard the wing tips.
Add dry wings to the bowl, toss well so that chicken wings are coated evenly with the dry ingredients.

Step 3: Lightly spray the wings with oil and bake for 25 to 30 mins, flipping the wings once in between cooking till the wings are crispy.

Step 4: While the wings are getting baked, heat a saucepan over medium heat, add all the sauce ingredients to the pan, and let it simmer for 5 to 8 mins till the sauce slightly thickens.

Pro Tips To Make Honey Garlic Chicken Wings:
- Make sure you pat the wings dry with kitchen tissue; the spices won't coat the chicken properly, and they won't be crispy when baked.
- It is important to flip the chicken halfway to get the chicken cooked evenly and to make the chicken crispy.
- If the sauce is thin, then heat the sauce a little longer; once cooled, the sauce gets thick.
- Leftover wings can stay for 2 days in the refrigerator and can be heated in the oven at 375F/190C for 10 mins or till heated thoroughly.
- Do not heat in a microwave, as the texture of the chicken changes when heated in a microwave.
- If you want to freeze then do not coat the chicken with sauce. You can bake the chicken, arrange them in between layers of parchment paper to avoid sticking, in a freezer-safe bag or container, and freeze up to a month, then reheat in the oven as mentioned above.
