This is famous Indian street food / to-go appetizer that almost everyone likes and does not need any intro or much of information. Here is a list of appetizers ,street food recipes,bite-size food recipes ,restaurant style food and indo-chinese recipes that I have shared before.
Here is the step by step procedure how to make Gobi Manchurian:
- Wash and pat dry cauliflower florets.
- In a bowl,add the florets,salt,chili powder/paprika,pepper powder,all purpose flour and cornstarch.
- Add very little water to make smooth dough mix,enough to coat all the florets.
- Make sure the cover is not very thick nor thin.
- Heat oil and drop all the florets in batches till fried well,then drain on kitchen tissue.
- Do this in batches and do not overcrowd the pan.
- In a pan add oil,when its hot,add crushed garlic,crushed ginger,slit green chili pepper/chilis and saute on high flame for few seconds.
- Next add finely chopped red onion,spring onion whites sliced and saute further.
- Now add the sauces mentioned - chili garlic sauce,tomato ketchup,red chili sauce / sambal chili sauce,pepper powder,soy sauce.
- Mix this well and add the fried florets,adjust salt.
- Toss well and finally garnish with spring onion green.

Restaurant style,street food(Indo Chinese) Gobi Manchurian try at home.
Ingredients
- 250 Grams / 0.5 Lb Cauliflower,florets,washed and pat dry
- 1/4 Teaspoon, Black Pepper Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon,Red Chili Powder
- 2 Tablespoon , Cornstarch
- 4 Tablespoon,Maida / All Purpose Flour
- Oil to deep fry
- 2 Tablespoon,coconut oil
- 4 Cloves,Garlic,crushed
- 1 Inch,Ginger,crushed
- 2 Green Chili/Green Chili Pepper,slit
- 3 Teaspoon,Red Chili Sauce
/ Sambal Chili Sauce
- 2 Teaspoon,Chili Garlic Sauce
- 1 Teaspoon,Tomato Ketchup
- 1 Teaspoon,Soy Sauce
- As per need,Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon,Black Pepper Powder
- 2 Spring Onion,whites and green ,separated
- 1 Small Red Onion,Finely chopped
Instructions
