A new post and this time it's another interesting and delectable Chaat - Dahi Matar Kachori Chaat!

I am so addicted to Chaat's that every weekend I have to make Chaat at home and enjoy them. It can be anything- a delicious Ragda Pattice, Kachori Chaat or simply some tossed Bhel.
I have shared many chaat recipes before. Here are my recipes for you all to check -Kachori Chaat ,Masala Puri , Ragda Pattice , Dahi Batata Puri .

Chaat Street Food Dahi Matar Kachori Chaat Recipe

I was craving for some crispy hot kachori's for some time. Every time I would go shopping and see some piping hot kachori and samosa's kept in restaurants / shops, I would actually feel like eating them but somehow controlled myself as I have put a limit on eating out these days. Not that I do not feel like eating out but somehow controlling outside food is good for me.

This weekend I made these delicious Matar Kachori's,as I was having them on my list for a long time now. Also, not to break my weekend routine of making chaat , so I made a combo of kachori chaat. That served both for me kachori and chaat too.

Here I used frozen Green Peas, you can use fresh Peas too. Also the spices that I have used are little moderate in spice level,so adjust accordingly if you want more spicier version of kachori.

I have shared the recipe of Green Mint chutney and Sweet Date Tamarind Chutney recipe before. Do check them too.
Here I have added sweet Dahi in the recipe. Its nothing but Yogurt whisked well and added, sugar to it. You can add some chaat masala, cumin powder, red chili powder to that too. It will be wonderful. Ratio of yogurt and sugar is mentioned in recipe.

  • To get nice flaky and crispy kachori, fry them on low to medium flame/heat. Frying them on high heat will make them quickly brown and leave them raw.
  • If you do not like Mint Green chutney then skip that.

Enjoy!
