A new post after a long gap....a sweet post for a special occasion...Bombay Ice Halwa/Paper Halwa!!

Lately,I didn't post any new recipes here,I was very tied-up with family needs. Finally, after a long gap I could make and post something nice...that too for a special occasion...that's my baby's first Bday!!
Yaay...finally a big long wait of 365 days is over...any my baby turned 1!!

Bombay Ice Halwa Paper Halwa Festive Sweet

I loved this paper halwa/Ice Halwa, since my childhood days. We used to buy this a lot,but never understood how to make it!
Its called Paper Halwa,as its very thin like paper thin, ideally when you buy from sweet shops.
I dont know why its Ice Halwa,as I got to know about this name recently.

The basic idea of this recipe is of Swati Pol. I did some small modifications to it,as I wanted little crunch to it instead of soft halwa, and came out awesome!
You can use the recipe as it is or with the modifications, either way the recipe is perfect.
A very good sweet for festive season too.
Try this!!
