A new post for all veggie and pizza lovers...Paneer Mushroom Veggie Pizza!

It's been long since I had made pizza or even had one. I had lot of vegetables in refrigerator and  the best way to consume them is by making something out of it that is yummy and yet healthy.
Eating pizza outside is strictly regulated as it adds up to so many calories and kids get used to eating out and forget how tasty and yummy home food can be.
So we make sure that we get outside pizza may be once in 2-3 months or may be more.

This time I made very yummy pizza at home and that too in minimal time. No much fuss of dough as dough is very simple to make and the pizza sauce is an instant one too.
I had earlier shared some pizza  base and pizza sauce recipes. Please check them if you want to try that too.

Paneer Mushroom Veggie Pizza
Ingredients



 Pizza Dough
 To make dough:
  • 1 & 1/4 the Cup Maida / All Purpose Flour
  • 1 & 1/2 Teaspoon Dry Active Yeast
  • 1/4th Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 3/4 th Cup Warm Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter,at room temperature
  • 1/4th Cup - 2 Tablespoons Milk,at room temperature
 For Topping:
  • 1/4th Cup Onion,cubed
  • 1/4th Cup Tomato,cubed
  • 1/4th Cup Green,BellPepper,cubed
  • 75 gms Paneer/Cottage Cheese,cubed
  • 6 Nos Mushrooms,halved
  • 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Tandoori Masala
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
    For  Pizza Sauce:
    Instant Pizza Sauce:
  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon Chilli Garlic Sauce

  • 1/2 Cup or as per need Mozzarella cheese, Shreeded
Instructions
Use my recipe of pizza dough or make a pizza dough as per here.
First In a bowl,add the yeast,sugar and salt. Add the lukewarm to it. Mix well.Cover and keep aside so that will bloom.
After 7-10 minutes the yeast has activated and foamed up.
Now in a mixing bowl,add flour,yeast mixture little by little and make a smooth dough.
Knead the dough well as the more you knead the final base will be better and soft.
Add butter and milk to it and knead further.
The dough will be sticky,so apply little oil to your hands and knead further.
Cover and keep it in warm place. Specially in a the oven / microwave. Keep this dough to rise for 1 hour.
After 1 hour the dough will double in size.
Make sure if you are using microwave then keep it switched off.
Meanwhile,make the topping for pizza.
In a nother bowl,add the veggies like: mushrooms,paneer,onion,tomato.
Add all the spice powder to it. Add lime juice,salt,ginger-garlic paste.
Mix well and keep it aside.
Now preheat the oven at 350F.
On a baking tray,place aluminum sheet.Grease it with oil.
Take the dough ball,spread it on the aluminum sheet and form a smooth rim.
Prick it with fork at places and make sure the edges of the pizza base are formed.
Now use my recipe of pizza sauce or try this instant pizza sauce.
Spread the tomato Ketchup and Chilli Garlic sauce on the base.
Spread it evenly,mixing both the sauces.
Now,spread the veggies.
Add cheese on top.
Bake the pizza for 30 to 35 minutes at 320F.
If you want the base to be more hard then bake it further.
Spread more cheese on top.
Enjoy this hot pizza with coke or any other sides!!

Tips:
  • Add any choice of veggies as per personal preference.
  • Add pizza cheese as per your choice.
  • Baking times may vary depending on the oven temperatures.
  • Increase the quantity of sauce mix i.e. tomato ketchup and chilli garlic sauce as per choice.
